Titan Foundry: Abyssal Gate

These terms are the agreement between you and Charles Chang (Bao Bao Gaming Studios), based in Ontario, Canada, for playing Titan Foundry: Abyssal Gate ("the game"). Installing or playing the game means you accept them. If you do not, please do not play.

The short version

• Play the game, enjoy it, don't cheat.
• Titan Cores, Tactical Items and unlocks are parts of a game, not property, and have no cash value.
• Buy things through Google Play or the App Store; refunds go through them.
• Your account is shared across all of our games. Deleting it removes your progress in every one of them.
• We can change or stop the game, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the game on devices you control, for your own entertainment. You may not sell it, rent it, take it apart to extract its code or assets, or run modified copies of it.

Your account

You can play without giving us your name or email: the game creates an anonymous account for you. Linking a Google or Apple sign-in turns it into a Bao Bao Gaming Studios account, which is shared across our games. See the privacy policy for what that means for your data.

You are responsible for the sign-in you link and for what happens under it. One account per person.

Deleting. In the game, Account → Delete cloud save deletes Titan Foundry's cloud save only. You can also ask us to delete your whole account, as explained on the account deletion page. Deleting the whole account removes your progress in every one of our games that uses it, and cannot be undone.

Titan Cores, Tactical Items and unlocks

The game contains virtual items: Titan Cores, Tactical Items, heroes unlocked early, and the Commander Pack. They exist only inside the game.

• They are licensed to you for use in the game, not sold to you as property.
• They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or sold.
• They can be lost if you delete your cloud save or your account, and they end if the game ends.
• We may change what items cost, what they do, and how many Cores the game awards, as part of balancing the game.

Purchases and refunds

Real-money purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, under their terms and with their payment methods. We never see your card details.

Purchases deliver immediately and are final, except where the law gives you a right to cancel, or where the store's own refund policy applies. Refunds are requested from the store you bought from, not from us: they took the payment and they are who can return it. If a purchase does not arrive in your game, contact us and we will put it right.

The Commander Pack is a one-time purchase that removes the ads between stages and can be restored on any device signed in to the same store account. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the items it paid for, including anything already spent.

Ads

The game shows optional rewarded ads you choose to watch, and occasional ads between stages, never during a battle. Rewards from ads are virtual items like any other. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; see the privacy policy.

Playing fairly

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the game or its servers, and do not use another player's account. Modifying the game or its saved data to create Cores, items or achievements you did not earn may cost you those items and, in serious cases, the account. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes, availability and ending

We may update the game, change its content and balance, or add and remove features. We may stop offering the game entirely; if we do, we will give notice in the game where we reasonably can.

We do not promise the game will always be available or free of faults. It is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires and does not allow us to exclude.

You may stop playing at any time. We may end your licence if you break these terms.

Our responsibility

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you relating to the game is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost virtual items.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they do not apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere, you keep the consumer rights your own country gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. If a change matters, we will say so in the game rather than only here.
